Mercury Mini
Mercury mini also known as Portable Heater-Cooler Unit. Mini is used to maintain the blood temperature through conductive heat transfer. The conductive heat transfer is accomplished through blood oxygenator/ heat exchanger unit, along with the use of a blanket under the patient for rewarming phase if desired. The user regulates the desired fluid temperature with continuous monitoring. The temperature can be lowered by adding ice in to the water tank if needed.
Applications
Mercury Mini can be used for surgeries such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) surgeries, maintaining patient temperature in the ICU, cancer surgeries, and neonatal & pediatric surgeries (e.g., newborn herniotomy, anoplasty, and orchiopexy).
